Freeman King is a family run building and construction business operating across the home counties. In that time, we have built strong professional reputations, characterised by trust and our unique approach.
We have successfully completed multiple varied projects including new build, swimming pool outbuildings, extensions, loft conversions, full partial refurbishments, as well as commercial office / workspace properties and more specialised projects including work on listed buildings.

Rob worked his way up organically from labour, to bricklayer, to foreman and then project manager for all brickwork and wet trades activities, before setting up his own construction business to provide a credible alternative for his clients whilst taking on larger fixed price work contracts.
Experienced at all levels of construction delivery, Rob is a charismatic and adept builder, who understands not only sequencing and material selection but also, how to circumvent issues faced on site when there maybe missing information or a conflict in the documentation. Rob thinks on his feet and is proactive. Rob’s knowledge is instrumental in bringing together the architect’s drawings and design intent to reality. An accomplished builder, Rob’s approach encourages collaboration, however, he is also assured in his knowledge and won’t hesitate to call something out that does not adhere to the brief or his own stringent standards.
Having trained and worked for reputable tier 1 construction companies in the UK, Ryan is a chartered quantity surveyor who has enhanced his knowledge base and industry understanding during his 10 years overseas. Now, Ryan forms part of the leadership team delivering fixed priced contracts for Freeman King in the Berks & Bucks areas.
Experienced at all levels of construction delivery, Ryan’s overseas experience and site-based background, provide a unique balance and understanding of the issues to be addressed at any stage of a construction or engineering project.
An accomplished cost estimator, surveyor and contract administrator, Ryan’s approach encourages collaboration, however, he is equally comfortable with scrutinising figures or process to add value for his clients.
